Whenever the world is threatened by extinction, all big cats are moved to the Kenyan-Tanzanian Border, where Mount. Kilimanjaro lies. This is indeed in the future, and here the landscape is diverse.

Welcome to Kitambi... Your adventure awaits.
Kitambi was born from a simple love of writing. This play-by-post wild feline roleplay is set in 2060, where all animals are critically endangered and even the human's lives are beginning to fall short. In the nearly-apocalyptic world, two land areas remain free from the hard hitting impacts of Global Warming, pollution, and hunting; Alaska and Africa. The world leaders decided to put their beloved animals in these places, so even if human life ebbed away, the animals could be safe and continue. This takes place in Africa, on the border of Kenya and Tanzania, where Kilimanjaro reigns dominant through the land. Felines have been put here because the changing world has left this land diverse- A thick jungle dominates in the east, in the west a desert lies, stripped by a drastic rain shadow caused by the giant Kilimanjaro. The highlands provide snow and cool weather for mountainous and cold-preferring cats, and of course the plains Africa offer natural habitation for Lions, Cheetahs, and Leopards. Also, this website is a proud supporter of WWF.

Kubwa ya Ziwa

This mighty lake is a religious home to many- The great Nyota Warriors are said to be more in touch with others here, and the lake brings back life to those searching for water. Located in the southwest, there is an island in the center. Strong swimmers can reach this point, where and certain points of day, light filters through a small hole set in the central cave, which illuminates the otherwise dark set of dark.

Uliokithiri Kaskazini Jungle

Home to monkeys, rivers, and many jaguars and tigers, the moderate climate, gorgeous colors and moist surroundings is paradise to many.

Magharibi Desert

Due to a rain shadow from the northeast, the west lives in long periods of drought. However, there is a canyon, carved by a deep, resourceful river. Be careful- Hyenas scourge the land, foraging for meals, and getting down to the river is nearly impossible.

Kilimanjaro

If you are brave or built for climbing, you may attempt to live roughly on the mountain. There is not much room for any streaks or prides, though a small family may live together here.

Mashariki Highlands

The highlands are just barely east of Kilimanjaro- In fact, they are connected. Here many more mountainous cats thrive. Also, some areas are dusted in snow- Keep warm!

Mashariki Steppe

This is a rolling grassland where virtually no trees are found, however, there are a few winding rivers. This territory is not home to any prides right now, so go chill.

Suidtambarare

A lush, meadow-like, green area surrounded by trees, nestled on the north side of Kilimanjaro. It is unaffected by the rain shadow towards the west.
